Post subject:	VP : Nouveau Sudden-like sur l'Indochine / Vietnam
En provenance directe de la Russie, un nouveau mod en préparation dans le grand froid. Son nom : Sudden Strike - [color=orange][b]Vietnam Project[/b][/color]. On pourra jouer les français, les US, les nord-vietnamiens, et même les troupes sud-vietnamiennes et australiennes. Une grande attention sera probablement portée aux voix. Nos amis russes sont désireux de créer une réelle ambiance années 50-60, avec les communications radio, la musique qui va avec, etc. Je vais entrer en contact avec eux afin de voir si je peux leur proposer mes sons de la 317ème section, ca pourrait être pile dans l'ambiance voulue. Du point de vue jouabilité, les soldats du Vietnam auraient tous 20 pourcents de points de vie en moins que les "occidentaux", toutefois ils se déplaceront plus vite que ces derniers. Une bêta sera proposée au début du printemps. J'en doute aussi, mais ca pourra que faire mieux que ce que l'on avait jusqu'à maintenant (un petit mod avec une campagne Dien Bien Phu inachevée).

J'ai vu ça sur le site russe il y a quelques temps, et effectivement, c'est un mod qui sera le bienvenu. Car il faut bien le dire, les mods sudden sûr le Vietnam il y en a peu. Oui comme tu le dit, il y a bien le mod avec la campagne de Dien Bien Phu. Mais c'est un vieux (je veux dire par là "ancien") mod avec des unités manquantes et des schèmes assez vides.

VOUIiII ya bon! faut leur proposer de l'aide en effet, au moins les sons, et quelques bricoles en plus sur l'historiques avec des idées scénarisées, 2/3 bricoles à corriger niveau armement. Rends compte ici de tes contacts avec eux.

Hi Junkers, and welcome on our website. You make a good job on your mod, and it's interesting to see a mod based on vietnam and indochine conflicts. Sudden strike 2 has a vietnam mod, but it's not a really good mod. Your models are largely better. So, i have a first question: Have you made a napalm strike for your planes? (i don't know if you already have made a F4 phantom model) If not, when it's ready, would you show us a screen please

Also I`m thinking about howitzers which will use shells with White Phosphorus (Willy Peter). It will hurt only unsecured infantry. [quote="killgame"]It's Navy Seals units? Or other special force?[/quote] In Vietnam USA used either NAVY seals and green berets. I decided not to use all of them in mod (it will be too many units) but to call them "Specops".

That is our Graal, the thing we don't know how to do ! So we congratulate you for this project, already well advanced. Don't hesitate to ask for ideas we could bring you, and we gonna look for interesting elements for you, sounds extracts given by DEnis are already interesting.

Le minisite du mod : http://vietnam.at.ua On peut notamment y lire que 4 campagnes seraient prévues, dont une française (on aura donc notre campagne d'Indochine, de quoi pouvoir reproduire la 317ème section )
